The Call For Hope

You have the power to spark joy, inspire strength and provide hope to individuals and families in the Lehigh Valley.

In these times of uncertainty, more of our neighbors than ever before are in need of help. They struggle to provide life's basic needs – nutritious food, safe housing, and a steady wage – for themselves and their families. The Call for HOPE Campaign of Morning Call Charities, a McCormick Foundation Fund, is dedicated to helping our community survive these tough times.

Since its inception in 2000, The Morning Call Community Fund has awarded more than $920,000 in grants to local charities, improving the lives of hundreds of low-income families in the Greater Lehigh Valley.

All donations are matched at 50 cents on the dollar by The McCormick Foundation. The Morning Call and the Foundation pay all administrative costs so 100 percent of your gift plus the match is granted to local nonprofit organizations.

Companies That Care

Is your company a Company that Cares?

Companies That Care is a holiday giving opportunity for companies that want to make a difference in the Lehigh Valley and be recognized in The Morning Call.

Here's How It Works:

1. Corporate Contributions
You can make a corporate contribution or your staff can engage in an all-employee fundraiser. Contribute money to the campaign in lieu of a holiday party or Christmas gift exchange. Departments or entire companies can participate. No contribution is too big or too small.
2. Matching Contributions
Every contribution is matched 50 cents on the dollar by the McCormick Foundation. The Morning Call and the Foundation pay all administrative costs so 100 percent of the funds raised go directly to local nonprofit organizations.
3. Community Support
The Morning Call will highlight your community support in its first-ever Companies That Care honor roll that will be published in the paper.
4. The Morning Call Charities
In spring 2009, The Morning Call Community Fund will distribute the money raised, plus the 50-cent-on-the dollar match, to local non-profit organizations. Since 2000, The Morning Call Charities has awarded more than $920,000 in grants locally. Back to top
