The Allentown Art Museum is located in center city Allentown, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. It was founded by impressionist artist Walter Emerson Baum in 1934. The museum across the street is the Baum School of the Arts, named after the artist. The museum presents over 10,000 works of art over 40 different periods, most of which are European based.
