The first five books have been made into successful motion pictures with the sixth due in theaters in late 2008. The movies follow Harry (played by Daniel Radcliffe) through his education at Hogwarts, a school of magic located in Scotland. Other actors in the films include Rupert Grint, Emma Watson, Richard Harris, Maggie Smith, John Cleese, Gary Oldman and Ralph Fiennes.
In 2007, Universal Orlando announced plans to add a major Harry Potter area to its Islands of Adventure theme park. It will be known as "The Wizarding World of Harry Potter" and is set to be completed in late 2009 or early 2010, with cooperation of Rowling and the movies' set designer, Stuart Craig.
