The Jonas Brothers is a pop-punk group made up of Joseph, Nicholas, and Kevin Jonas. Hailing from Wyckoff, N. J., the brothers were first signed by Daylight/Columbia Records in 2005. During that year, the Jonas Brothers joined a number of impressive tours, including opening for Kelly Clarkson, Aly & AJ, the Backstreet Boys and Jesse McCartney. During that year, the Jonas Brothers joined a number of impressive tours, including opening for Kelly Clarkson, Aly & AJ, the Backstreet Boys and Jesse McCartney. In 2006, the group released their first album, "It's About Time," with only 50,000 copies. A few months after the release of their debut album, the Jonas Brothers were dropped by Columbia Records. Hollywood Records signed the group in February of 2007, and released their self-titled second album in August of that year. The Jonas Brothers gained immense success with their second release, reaching #4 on the Billboard Hot 200 chart. The group made a guest appearance on Disney's original show, 'Hannah Montana' as well as performed at Miss Teen USA and on Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve. Jonas Brothers also opened for Miley Cyrus on her 'Best of Both Worlds' tour, and set out on their own "Look Me in the Eyes Tour" in January of 2008.
