John Callahan is a political figure from the Lehigh Valley area. He is best known for his role as Mayor of the city of Bethlehem. Callahan was born and raised in Bethlehem, Lehigh and Northampton County, Pennsylvania, and graduated from Moravian College. He worked at Pfizer before running for and winning the Bethlehem Mayor's race. Callahan also served on Bethlehem City Council, the Finance Committee and Public Works Committee.
