Chuck Bednarik, also known as Charles Bednarik is a former pro football player and is from the Lehigh Valley area. Bednarik is from Bethlehem, Lehigh County and Northampton County, Pennsylvania, and currently lives in Coopersburg. Bednarik is a graduate of Liberty High School and the University of Pennsylvania. He played for the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League (NFL) and is a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Bednarik is best known for his hit that knocked former football player Frank Gifford out of football.
